Services Provided
Maranda Marie Photography offers luxury boudoir photography experiences designed to empower and celebrate women. Select sessions may include professional hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling. These services are only included if explicitly stated in the client’s package or invoice.
Special offers, giveaways, or complimentary sessions may be provided from time to time. Clients are not required to purchase to enter a giveaway, but standard session retainers and product minimums apply once a session is booked or scheduled outside the giveaway context.
Age Requirement
Clients must be 18 years of age or older to participate in a boudoir session. No exceptions. Guests are not permitted during sessions.
Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows
All payments are final and non-refundable.
One complimentary reschedule with 90+ days’ notice is allowed.
Reschedules and cancellations are subject to a $500 fee.
Sessions must be completed within 6 months of the original booking. After this time, a new contract and session retainer are required.
No Communication Clause: If a client fails to respond for 4+ weeks (after 3 documented studio attempts), the session will be deemed cancelled. All payments remain non-refundable, and outstanding balances will still be due.
Reveal & Ordering Appointment
Appointments generally take place immediately after your session or within 14 days if agreed upon prior to the session.
Failure to attend within 14 days will result in permanent deletion of your images without refund.
Reschedule of the Reveal & Ordering Appointment is not allowed.
All unpurchased images are deleted immediately after the appointment. Purchased images are retained 30 days after final delivery, then permanently deleted.
Session Expectations
Sessions typically run 4 hours including prep, styling, and photoshoot.
Please arrive on time. Being 20+ minutes late may result in cancellation or a $500 reschedule fee.
Clients must arrive sober. Alcohol and drug use are not permitted.
Clients receiving hair and makeup must arrive with clean, dry hair and no makeup. Arriving with wet hair incurs a $200 fee.
Spray tans are not permitted. Extra editing to correct mismatched skin tones is billed at $200 per image.
The photographer retains artistic discretion regarding posing, wardrobe, props, and session elements.
Products, Editing & Retouching
No images are included with the session retainer. Products start at $1,500.
Album designs and product selections are finalized at the Ordering Appointment.
Once approved and paid, all sales are final. No refunds, changes, or exchanges are allowed.
Standard retouching (skin smoothing, blemish removal) is included. Extensive edits (body modification, spray tan correction, color matching) are billed at $200 per image.
RAW files and unedited proofs are never released or sold.
Completion Schedule & Product Delivery
Print and product orders require up to 8 weeks for processing and delivery.
Rush requests are subject to a 10% surcharge.
The studio is not liable for manufacturer or shipping delays.
Purchased images are deleted 30 days after final product delivery. Deleted files cannot be recovered.
Copyright & Usage
Maranda Marie Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images.
Clients receive personal-use rights only (printing and private sharing).
Online sharing requires crediting/tagging Maranda Marie Photography.
A separate Model Release form governs whether images may be used in marketing or social media. No images will be shared without written consent.
Clients may not crop, alter, sell, or submit images to publications without written permission.
Liability & Release
By booking, clients acknowledge that boudoir sessions involve physical activity, voluntary posing, and varying levels of nudity.
Clients release Maranda Marie Photography from liability for:
Personal injury, illness, or emotional distress
Damage or loss of property, attire, or vehicles
Risks associated with travel to/from session locations
Delays, product defects, or supply chain issues
Clients must back up their digital files. The studio does not guarantee long-term storage after delivery.
Force Majeure
Maranda Marie Photography is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: illness, emergencies, weather, natural disasters, road closures, or other unforeseeable events.
In such cases, clients will receive a full session credit valid for 6 months.
Governing Law & Compliance
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state of South Dakota and the United States.
All giveaways, promotions, and VIP offers are conducted in accordance with United States laws and regulations, including consumer protection and contest compliance.
Agreement to Terms
By booking a session, signing a contract, or paying a retainer, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, which align with the full Boudoir Session Contract.

Privacy & Confidentiality
All client data, contracts, and session files are confidential and will not be shared externally.
If marketing permission is granted, clients may revoke consent within 90 days’ written notice of the session.
The studio is not responsible for use of images once permission has been granted and the images are published.
Session Fees & Payments
A non-refundable session retainer of $599 is required to reserve your session date.
This fee does not include any images or products. All images and products are purchased separately at the Reveal & Ordering Appointment.
A minimum purchase requirement of $1,500 (in addition to the session retainer) applies to all bookings, including sessions secured through giveaways or VIP promotions.
A valid credit card must be kept on file for cancellations, reschedules, no-shows, and outstanding balances. Two valid credit cards are required on file. Maranda Marie Photography may process a nominal test charge (e.g., $5) to confirm validity.
Payment plans are available prior to the session only. These are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. Payment frequency may be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Defaulted payments (3 failed attempts) will result in cancellation of the plan and cancellation of the boudoir session.
Giveaway or VIP session offers: While the session retainer may be waived or discounted, standard product minimums and pre-session payment plans apply once a session is booked.
Refunds
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for session retainers, products, or payment plans.
